The problem with not putting our plan on paper is that we will most probably forget about them after a while.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Hands up, those of you who can actually remember and stick to your New Year's Resolutions?&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;You probably didn't raise your hand. Thats the problem. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Therefore, to counter this niggly little problem calling forgetfulness. Yours truly has come up with an INGENIOUS little solution. Its called the MOTIVATIONAL TEMPLATE. Why are the words in CAPS you ask? &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Well, its in caps because i like it. =)&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Anyhow, i hope that this template will help keep you more focused on your goals.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Motivational Template&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic; These people go about their day absolutely radiating negative and somewhat aggressive vibes. They snap at their children over insignificant things like leaving breadcrumbs on the floor, or when someone cuts them off while driving on the road, they go utterly ballistic, screaming every known expletive known to man and just bashing the wheel like they were Chris Brown and the honk was Rihanna.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica; min-height: 14.0px"&gt;&lt;span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"&gt;&lt;span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px"&gt;It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to tell you that such behavior isn’t healthy and that there are better ways to deal with your bad day. It is also pretty obvious that you aren’t going to be motivated to do anything being in such a foul mood. So instead of feeling all sulky and angry when things don’t go your way, try what the kid above is doing and just SMILE !! =)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica; min-height: 14.0px"&gt;&lt;span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica"&gt;&lt;span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px"&gt;Smiling releases endorphins (not some new age dolphin) which are chemicals which make you feel better and happy. It has also been scientifically proven that smiling not only relieves stress, it also lowers your blood pressure. Furthermore, smiling also makes you more attractive to others which also helps to increase your motivation as well, but we’ll touch on that another time. Plan your day&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style=" font-weight: bold;font-family:'lucida grande';"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style=" font-weight: bold;font-family:'lucida grande';"&gt;Step 2. Thats it!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style=" font-weight: bold;font-family:'lucida grande';"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style=" ;font-family:'lucida grande';"&gt;Every night, before you sleep, take out a weekly planner or a piece of paper and write down what you want to do for your next day. Keep it simple and short. Don't be overly ambitious. For example, if you have been wanting to finish reading "To Kill A Mockingbird" for the longest time but have not gotten down to doing it, put down as your aim for tomorrow - "Read Chapters 1 and 2 of To Kill A Mockingbird" instead of &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:'lucida grande';"&gt;- "Finish reading the whole book".&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:'lucida grande';"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:'lucida grande';"&gt;Doing so helps to break down your task into easier digestable smaller chunks, instead of a mammoth task that be very difficult to finish.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:'lucida grande';"&gt;Trust me on this that at the end of the day, when you finish doing your assigned tasks and aims for the day, you will feel a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment. What's more, you would have gotten something useful done as well!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:'lucida grande';"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:'lucida grande';"&gt;Whichever method you choose to use is up to you, but i personally think that Method 1 is much more fun! However, if you find your friends avoiding your calls or not inviting you to their children's birthday parties. To be perfectly honest, i wish that i had an aim in life. Something to actually work towards instead of just living my days aimlessly.  It's as if it's Groundhog day, when i just wake up, do the usual things, come home, sleep, and proceed to rinse and repeat. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;I'm sure all of you have at some point of time in your life, just stopped and asked yourself, " What is my purpose in Life?" Well, my blog isn't here to answer that question obviously (i am not GOD), but i hope that my motivational tips that i will proceed to post will at least inspire you to live your day to the fullest. That it will motivate you to chase your dream again, to take ACTION instead of PROCRASTINATION. Hopefully, after reading the blog, you will shake off the spectre of Self Doubt and Procrastination that always lingers by your side and just decide that enough is enough! I have 1 life and i am going to live it.
