The motivator is back for motivation tip number 2 !!


Ever had a bad day?


I’m sure you’ve had a day when everything seems to be going wrong. Your car won’t start, your boss is screaming at you about your impending deadline, or you just found out that your girlfriend became a lesbian!


Well i don’t know about you, but the most common reactions people have in dealing with a bad day is to either keep all the frustration and anger inside, or to just curse and swear at every little thing. These people go about their day absolutely radiating negative and somewhat aggressive vibes. They snap at their children over insignificant things like leaving breadcrumbs on the floor, or when someone cuts them off while driving on the road, they go utterly ballistic, screaming every known expletive known to man and just bashing the wheel like they were Chris Brown and the honk was Rihanna.


It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to tell you that such behavior isn’t healthy and that there are better ways to deal with your bad day. It is also pretty obvious that you aren’t going to be motivated to do anything being in such a foul mood. So instead of feeling all sulky and angry when things don’t go your way, try what the kid above is doing and just SMILE !! =)


Smiling releases endorphins (not some new age dolphin) which are chemicals which make you feel better and happy. It has also been scientifically proven that smiling not only relieves stress, it also lowers your blood pressure. Furthermore, smiling also makes you more attractive to others which also helps to increase your motivation as well, but we’ll touch on that another time. Therefore, to counter all the negative feelings that your bad day will bring, and to motivate yourself towards your goals. 



Being happy leads to you feel more positive and hence more motivated to achieve your goals. If you find my previous motivation tip such as planning your day a little tedious, then at least try this tip. Its free, easy and only takes a second. SMILE !! =) Smile and the world smiles with you.

Motivation Tip No. 1

Hello there,

i am now going to outline 2 ways you can motivate yourself. Which ever method you choose is at your own discretion. 

Method 1

Step 1. Tell a friend about your goals and your aim. (E.g If your aim is to lose 10 pounds, tell him/her you want to lose 10 pounds)

Step 2. Take a naked photo of yourself in the most unflattering position ever conceivable by all of mankind.

Step 3. Pass this photo to your friend and tell him/her to post it on his/her Facebook account and tag you in it should you not meet your goal in the pre determined amount of time.

Step 4. Sit back, relax and watch your naked photo mentally scar your family, relatives, your friends and your friends' children forever. (You know that your friend is going to post the photo even if you do meet your goal, don't you =P)


Now on to Method 2!!

Method 2

If you are one of those people who have felt their day absolutely whizz by without accomplishing anything, this tip is for you. 

Step 1. Plan your day

Step 2. Thats it!

Every night, before you sleep, take out a weekly planner or a piece of paper and write down what you want to do for your next day. Keep it simple and short. Don't be overly ambitious. For example, if you have been wanting to finish reading "To Kill A Mockingbird" for the longest time but have not gotten down to doing it, put down as your aim for tomorrow - "Read Chapters 1 and 2 of To Kill A Mockingbird" instead of 
- "Finish reading the whole book".

Doing so helps to break down your task into easier digestable smaller chunks, instead of a mammoth task that be very difficult to finish.
Trust me on this that at the end of the day, when you finish doing your assigned tasks and aims for the day, you will feel a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment. What's more, you would have gotten something useful done as well!

Whichever method you choose to use is up to you, but i personally think that Method 1 is much more fun! However, if you find your friends avoiding your calls or not inviting you to their children's birthday parties. Check your friend's Facebook account.  =)

Hello there dear reader,

Have you ever felt that your life was UNFULFILLING?
Have you ever felt that your life was totally AIMLESS?
Have you ever felt that your life was absolutely devoid of any AIMS or GOALS?

Well, i know that i have. 

I decided to start this blog with the purpose of sharing some motivational tips that i've picked up over the years. To be perfectly honest, i wish that i had an aim in life. Something to actually work towards instead of just living my days aimlessly.  It's as if it's Groundhog day, when i just wake up, do the usual things, come home, sleep, and proceed to rinse and repeat. 

I'm sure all of you have at some point of time in your life, just stopped and asked yourself, " What is my purpose in Life?" Well, my blog isn't here to answer that question obviously (i am not GOD), but i hope that my motivational tips that i will proceed to post will at least inspire you to live your day to the fullest. That it will motivate you to chase your dream again, to take ACTION instead of PROCRASTINATION. Hopefully, after reading the blog, you will shake off the spectre of Self Doubt and Procrastination that always lingers by your side and just decide that enough is enough! I have 1 life and i am going to live it. I will chase my dream till my legs give out and i will doggone enjoy every waking minute of it.
